Archive Inventory

The Archive feature in Vino is designed to help winery teams manage their data with greater clarity and control. Whether you're looking to clean up inactive products, past events, or retired wine club offerings, the Archive function allows you to remove items from your day-to-day views—without permanently deleting any information.

This feature ensures historical data remains accessible when needed, while simplifying current operations.

 

🎯 Why Use the Archive Feature?

  • Declutter Active Views: Focus on current products, clubs, and operations.

  • Maintain Historical Records: Keep full visibility into your business history.

  • Improve Performance: Reduces data load on operational interfaces like POS and dashboards.

  • Preserve Reporting Accuracy: Archived data is still included in relevant historical reports and analytics.

 

🛠️ How to Archive an Item

  1. Navigate to the item you want to archive.

  2. Click the edit symbol on the right side.

  3. Scroll to the bottom of the page and select Archive.

 

Once archived:

  • The item will no longer appear in your active lists (e.g. product catalog, POS).

  • It will be moved to the Archived tab under its respective section.

 

♻️ How to Restore an Archived Item

Need something back? No problem.

  1. Go to the Archived tab in the top right corner.

  2. Locate the item.

  3. Click Unarchive to bring the item back into your active Inventory.
